Steelhead action is good if you find those color lines, try out as far as 140 feet of water, troll those bright colors for best results back 100 feet off the Offshore Boards.
Bass fishing is still the best in years with lots being taken inside the harbor casting around the weed beds and close to shore North and South of the harbor.
Walleye fishing has slowed due to the rains but some continue to be taken off the crawler harness and hot and tots trolling in 20 to 60 feet of water. Long lines have still been working best.
Salmon fishing continues to be on the slow side, but some are being taken mixed in while fishing for the Lake Trout
Lake Trout are being taken in 60 to 80 feet of water straight out and North of the harbor, as well as out as deep as 110 to 130 feet of water using spoons or Dodgers with green with white wing spin and glows fishing close to the bottom. Try pearl, yellow, gold, or green camo colors for best results..
For Perch you might try in closer with minnows. There are lots of minnows this year and there have been some reports of some perch being taken in close, yes, even as close as inside the harbor! Try the North wall by the City Marina and the walkway by the beach if you don't have a boat. Don't forget to take a kid fishing it's something they will remember forever! Have a safe weekend.
